{"id":192038,"date":"2026-05-07T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2026-05-06T22:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bcfi.be\/verkeerd-gebruik-van-tirzepatide-pennen-bij-obesitas\/"},"modified":"2026-05-07T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2026-05-06T22:00:00","slug":"verkeerd-gebruik-van-tirzepatide-pennen-bij-obesitas","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bcfi.be\/nl\/verkeerd-gebruik-van-tirzepatide-pennen-bij-obesitas\/","title":{"rendered":"Verkeerd gebruik van tirzepatide-pennen bij obesitas"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style='font-family:;' calibri'&#x002C;sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt;line-height:150%;'='' lang='NL'><strong>Het Federaal Agentschap voor Geneesmiddelen en Gezondheidsproducten (FAGG) ontving meldingen van verkeerd gebruik van voorgevulde pennen met tirzepatide in het kader van obesitas<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style='font-family:;' calibri'&#x002C;sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt;line-height:150%;'='' lang='NL'>Uit \u00e9\u00e9n voorgevulde pen met 4 dosissen tirzepatide worden soms 8 halve dosissen toegediend&#x002C; bijvoorbeeld 8 dosissen van 2&#x002C;5 mg in plaats van de voorziene 4 dosissen van 5 mg.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style='font-family:;' calibri'&#x002C;sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt;line-height:150%;'='' lang='NL'>Daarnaast trachten sommige pati\u00ebnten de restvloeistof in de pen te recupereren als \u201cextra\u201d dosis&#x002C; op sociale media ook de \u201cgolden dose\u201d genoemd. Pati\u00ebnten recupereren deze \u201cextra\u201d dosis door bijvoorbeeld de pen te openen en een insulinespuit te gebruiken.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style='font-family:;' calibri'&#x002C;sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt;line-height:150%;'=''>Een verklaring voor het verkeerd gebruik is dat pati\u00ebnten zo trachten kosten te besparen (tirzepatide wordt niet terugbetaald in de indicatie obesitas).\u00a0<\/span><span style='font-family:;' calibri'&#x002C;sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt;line-height:150%;'='' lang='NL'><strong>Ook met de andere GLP-1-analogen bij obesitas zijn er vermoedens<\/strong> dat sommige pati\u00ebnten meer doses trachten te bekomen om kosten te besparen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style='font-family:;' calibri'&#x002C;sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt;line-height:150%;'='' lang='NL'><strong>Het FAGG raadt deze praktijken uitdrukkelijk af.\u00a0<\/strong>De nauwkeurigheid van de dosis kan niet\u00a0 gegarandeerd worden (risico op te lage of te hoge dosis). Daarenboven is een infectierisico niet uit te sluiten wanneer naaldjes meerdere keren worden gebruikt&#x002C; wanneer de pen wordt geopend en een andere spuit wordt gebruikt om de restvloeistof te recupereren&#x002C;\u00a0<\/span><span style='font-family:;' calibri'&#x002C;sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt;line-height:150%;'=''>en wanneer de maximum bewaartijd\/gebruikstijd overschreden wordt<\/span><span style='font-family:;' calibri'&#x002C;sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt;line-height:150%;'='' lang='NL'>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style='font-family:;' calibri'&#x002C;sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt;line-height:150%;'='' lang='NL'>De SKP\u2019s geven duidelijke instructies:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style='font-family:;' calibri'&#x002C;sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt;line-height:150%;'=''>SKP\u2019s tirzepatide en semaglutide:<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style='font-family:;' calibri'&#x002C;sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt;line-height:150%;'='' lang='NL'>de restvloeistof niet recupereren: ze is <strong>onvoldoende <\/strong>als extra dosis.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style='font-family:;' calibri'&#x002C;sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt;line-height:150%;'='' lang='NL'>de bewaringstermijn en -omstandigheden respecteren:<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style='font-family:;' calibri'&#x002C;sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt;line-height:150%;'=''>tirzepatide (Mounjaro\u00ae Kwikpen): na eerste gebruik de pen gedurende maximum 30 dagen gebruiken en bewaren bij kamertemperatuur.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style='font-family:;' calibri'&#x002C;sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt;line-height:150%;'=''>semaglutide (Wegovy FlexTouch\u00ae): na eerste gebruik de pen gedurende maximum 6 weken gebruiken en bewaren bij kamertemperatuur of in de koelkast.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><span style='font-family:;' calibri'&#x002C;sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt;line-height:150%;'=''>altijd een nieuwe naald voor elke injectie gebruiken (om infecties en verstopping van de naald te voorkomen.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><span style='font-family:;' calibri'&#x002C;sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt;line-height:150%;'='' lang='NL'>SKP liraglutide (Saxenda\u00ae):<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style='font-family:;' calibri'&#x002C;sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt;line-height:150%;'=''>de bewaringstermijn en -omstandigheden respecteren: <\/span><span style='font-family:;' calibri'&#x002C;sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt;line-height:150%;'='' lang='NL'>na eerste gebruik de pen gedurende maximum 1 maand gebruiken en bewaren bij kamertemperatuur of in de
